Services

Acupuncture: The insertion of very fine, sterile, single-use needles in specific acupuncture points in order to facilitate the body’s own healing process and improve function and balance.

Gua Sha: Rubbing of the skin with a tool in order to release muscle tension, break up scar tissue, and increase blood circulation.

Cupping: Suction is created within a glass cup on the skin to release lactic acid at depth and increase circulation.

Moxibustion:  a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a small, spongy herb, to facilitate healing. Moxibustion has been used throughout Asia for thousands of years; in fact, the actual Chinese character for acupuncture, translated literally, means "acupuncture-moxibustion." The purpose of moxibustion, as with most forms of traditional Chinese medicine, is to strengthen the blood, stimulate the flow of qi, and maintain general health.

Topicals: Ointments and oils with herbs may be applied to your skin to accelerate the healing process.
